The Taizi Ginseng industry in Shibing County has undergone more than 30 years of development

Drive the planting of Taizi ginseng in surrounding areas such as Huangping, Yuqing, Fuquan, and Shiqian to over 200000 acres. Shibing County has become the main production area of ginseng with the highest output, best quality, and largest trading volume in China. In 2024, the planting area of Taizi ginseng in Niudachang Town will be over 60000 mu, and the trading volume of Taizi ginseng will be over 8500 tons.

As the renowned "Hometown of Pseudostellaria heterophylla," Shibing County has driven the expansion of Pseudostellaria heterophylla cultivation to over 200,000 mu (≈33,000 acres) across surrounding regions such as Huangping, Yuqing, Fuquan, and Shiqian. The county has established itself as China’s primary production hub for Pseudostellaria heterophylla, boasting the highest yield, premium quality, and largest trading volume nationwide. In 2024 alone, Niudachang Town’s planting area reached over 60,000 mu (≈10,000 acres), with a trading volume of dried Pseudostellaria heterophylla roots exceeding 8,500 tons.
